Due to circumstances beyond our control, the basketball game with Frederick, scheduled for this Thursday October 8th, has been cancelled. The Coyotes were ready to go, but Frederick had difficulty fielding a team for this week. We will, however, be ready for our next game on Monday, October 12th. against Granite!

Basketball is back in Lone Wolf! The Elementary School Coyotes will be playing 7 home games this season starting at 5 PM, Thursday, October 8th. Let's fill the stands and cheer on our teams. Admission is $5 and the concession stand will be open. Hope to see everyone there!

Lone Wolf School Picture Day is now Thursday October 29th!
The Lone Wolf Elementary School attended the Kiowa County Fair last week. It was a great experience for those students, getting to compete for ribbons, pet baby animals, talking with first responders and just having fun while learning. They even got to visit the election board. Hands on-learning while having fun-thats what we do in Lone Wolf.

Grades 7-12 took a "Friday Field Day" to the Thomas Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford today. We spent the day touring the incredible exhibits documenting the history of air and space travel. Some memorable moments saw students posing in front of the A-10 Warthog, watching JJ and Neyman try to fly a simulation craft off into space, and Xxanidy and Hunter learning about the International Space Station, There was even a super cool park and splash pad next door that the kids explored. What's our next Friday adventure? Stay tuned!
Attention Elementary School Parents!
The Coyote of the Month Awards Ceremony will be held tomorrow morning, Thursday, at 9:00 am in the Lone Wolf School auditorium. All are invited to see awards given to the Pre-K through 6th grade. See you there tomorrow morning!
The Coyote Family comes to the rescue! When one of our elementary teachers had an unexpected medical issue, our high schoolers really stepped up. They helped Mr. Reid with PE and Dr. Vitale with a science experiment. They also took the time to read stories to the younger students.
Superintendent Reid took his Botany class to identify a variety of botanical selections at the Altus-Lugert Wildlife Area today.
Virtual days have been significantly restricted by the state legislature. After the Thanksgiving break we will not have school on Fridays. Vo-Tech students at Burns Flat, however, will continue to have school on Fridays according to their schedule.
Tomorrow is the first day of school in Lone Wolf. Hope to see everyone there!
The Back-to-School Fish Fry was a resounding success. Parents and community members enjoyed the excellent fish cooked by Tim Blevins and Cory Meinert and then got to meet the Lone Wolf School Faculty and Staff. We're ready to start school on Thursday!
