Mr. Thomason's history class learned how to design and build a sturdy wood bridge. Then they put it to the test to see how much weight the bridges could hold. Caleb Bennet won the contest as his bridge held 65 lbs. of sand! Looks like we've got some future civil engineers at the school.

The Lone Wolf Coyotes Visit the Zoo! The Snider Exotic Petting Zoo was the Pre K-4th grade end of the year field trip destination. The kids had a great time feeding and interacting with the many animals that were at the zoo. Great way to end the school year!

Lone Wolf Gives! Jr. High students Khonner and Kale deliver food items, that have been collected by the school, to the Lone Wolf Post office today. We have been participating in the Stamp Out Hunger program, collecting non-perishable food donations this week. All food donated will go to the Lone Wolf Methodist Church Food Bank for distribution in our community.

Due to probable rain and cold temperatures tomorrow evening, the Lone Wolf School Promenade will be moved into the Lone Wolf gymnasium. Participants need to meet in the cafeteria at 6 pm. The Promenade will take place immediately following in the gym. After the Promenade, the Prom will begin at 7 pm at Moments on Main in Hobart.

Prom time is almost here! The Lone Wolf Junior-Senior Prom is Saturday, April 5th. The Promenade will be at the Courthouse Square Gazebo on Main Street in Hobart at 6:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend this special event at the Gazebo when the Juniors and Seniors are introduced. The Prom will then follow at Moments on Main in Hobart at 7:00pm for students and faculty. Lone Wolf Elementary School Rocks! Mrs. Mullican and Mrs. Meinert teamed up last week when Rebel brought her really cool rock collection to school. The combined classes participated in a show-and-tell activity that went along well with reading a story about rocks!
