It was the last day of Red Ribbon Week, so we "Scared Way Drugs" with our costumes. We had the "Coyote of the Month" presentations (which will be posted soon) and the Elementary School went trick-or treating to each classroom and then downtown to the COOP, Senior Center, Post Office and GI Joe Museum. Lastly, our Superintendent was honored by the Oklahoma Blood Institute for a great turnout at the last blood drive. As a reward, they provided a pizza party for the entire school!

Red Ribbon Week continues tomorrow with "Scare Away Drugs: Wear your Halloween Costume".
We also have the Coyote of the Month Assembly at 9:00 AM. The public is invited to this event. The elementary kids will be trick-or- treating downtown at 1 PM.

Mr. Magic will be here on Wednesday!

The show is entertainment as well as fun for the entire student body and school faculty. The show consists of comedy, antics and amazing basketball skills. Lone Wolf School is excited to announce that they have joined with Mangum Farm and Feed Store to supply local, farm fresh beef and pork to the tables at the Lone Wolf School cafeteria. This was made possible by receiving a grant of $25,000 from the State Dept. of Agriculture to provide students with healthier, fresher meals while helping to sponsor and promote local and surrounding agriculture businesses.
The Mangum Farm and Feed Store is located in Mangum, Oklahoma. It is owned by Clint and Jackie Menasco, supplying fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and a variety of jams, jellies, fresh breads and baked goods. In addition, they have other gift items made by local and surrounding crafters, as well as farm supplies and feed.

Anatomy and Physiology class, having just spent a week dissecting a cow brain, invited Ms.Meinert's first and second grade class to experience what a real brain feels like. The younger Coyotes volunteered, put on their gloves and jumped right in. Senior Langsten Prince, Dr. Vitale and even Ms. Meinert passed the brains around so the kids could reach out and experience science.
