Lone Wolf Schools would like to welcome our first ever SRO (School Resource Officer), Deputy Sheriff Clay Farrington. Deputy Farrington will be walking the halls, interacting with our students and patrolling the streets around Lone Wolf School. This was made possible through cooperation between Lone Wolf Schools, the Kiowa County Sheriffs Department and the Town of Lone Wolf. Funding was provided by the State of Oklahoma through the School Security Revolving Fund. Welcome, Deputy Farrington!

Here are a few more photos of activities from the last few weeks of first semester. Coach Thomason engaged his students in a paper bridge building contest in History to test their critical thinking skills. Ms. Schroeder had Rudolph day in Pre-K with some yummy treats. The Elementary School students sang Christmas songs for the residents of the nursing homes in Hobart and some of our students braved the cold weather and participated in the annual Lone Wolf Country Christmas and Parade of Lights.

The last day before Christmas break is always exciting at Lone Wolf School. You never know what will happen. There's kids in pajamas, movies, snacks, pizza parties, The Grinch, Buddy the Elf and even a science experiment or two.
Looking forward to a great spring semester!

The Elementary School students went to the movies this week! They were dressed in their comfy PJ's and saw "The Star" at the Cordell movie theater. Superintendent Lazenby accompanied the group for this trip. When they returned, Mrs. Meinert's class was showing the effects of maybe a bit too much juice and popcorn.

Veterans Day Program at Lone Wolf School. Today we honored our veterans at school with a Veterans Day Assembly. The Elementary School students led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. The Pre-K/Kindergarten sang "You're a Grand Old Flag" and the 3rd-6th grade sang "God Bless through USA". Superintendent Lazenby then introduced retired Gunnery Sergeant and Lone Wolf class of 1979 alumnus Rodney Richey who spoke about his experience in the service and how he still considers Lone Wolf his home. All the veterans were then invited to lunch in the cafeteria.
