
Snow Day Fun at Lone Wolf School!








Free Hearing Screenings for all Lone Wolf Public School students Wednesday, January 8, 2025.


Starting Tuesday, January 7th, the Lone Wolf School dismissal time will change from 3:30 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. This will be for all students, both elementary and high school.. There are no changes to the morning start time.


The Elementary students performed for the folks at the Lone Wolf Senior Center today and had visits this week from both Santa and the Grinch! A great way to wrap-up a successful first semester.




Winter Dress-up Days at Lone Wolf School this week! The last week before winter break is always filled with tests and classwork, but there is also time for a little fun. On Monday it will be Santa vs the Grinch!


Haven't created your Rooms account yet? No worries, another round of invites will be sent on Monday, Dec 16! Rooms is where all two-way communication between staff and guardians will take place beginning at the new semester. Please see our Rooms Support page on our website if you have any questions.


A large crowd of family and friends watched as the Lone Wolf Elementary School kids put on a great Christmas Show tonight. Santa even came by to give the them all a gift. A special thanks to the elementary school teachers and Mrs. Straub for helping to make this an enjoyable evening for all.

Tomorrow we will be sending invites for guardian access to our new two-way communication platform, Rooms! Basketball Game Tonight!
The Lone Wolf Coyotes Boys and Girls will be playing in the Mountain View-Gotebo Jr. High Tournament tonight starting at 6:30pm in Mountain View.


Parents and family members of our students were invited to a Thanksgiving meal at the school today. There was a terrific turnout and terrific food provided by our very own Claudia Ortega.

Home Game Today!
Lone Wolf Coyotes will host the Oulustee - El Dorado Diamondbacks. Games start at 4:30. See you there!


Action from the Olustee Basketball Tournament Saturday. Our boys and girls played tough against more experienced teams. Don't forget we have a home game this Thursday vs. Olustee-El Dorado starting with the elementary teams at 4:30PM. Come on over and cheer on our Coyotes!

Attention Coyote Basketball Fans! We have 2 games on Saturday at the Olustee Tournament. The girls will play at 3 PM and the Jr. High boys will play at 4 PM. The team bus will leave at 1 PM. See you there!


If you have a child enrolled in Lone Wolf School, come enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner for free on Thursday, November 21st. Families are invited to join their students for a free dinner of turkey, dressing and all the fixings. If you would like to attend, you must RSVP to (580) 846-9091 by Monday, November 18th. The lunch schedule is: Pre-K through 2nd grade 11am -11:30am, 3rd &4th grade 11:30 - 12:00pm, 5th - 12th grade 12pm-12:25pm. The meal will be served in the cafeteria adjacent to the gymnasium. The Lone Wolf School Elementary classes honored local veterans with songs and praise this Veterans Day. Private Cooper Earls, who recently completed basic training , told the audience why he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Parents and veterans were invited and the event was well attended by the community.

To thank you for your service, an honorary breakfast will be served for you from 8:30 - 9:30am on Monday, November 11th at the Senior Citizens Center in Lone Wolf. The food will be prepared and served by our Home Economics students. All veterans are welcome.


Lone Wolf School Veterans Day Program.
In honor of Veterans Day, LWPS will have a Veterans Program in our school auditorium on Monday , Novemeber 11th at 10:00am. Our Elementary students will perform a few songs and we will have a guest speaker. Parents and family are welcome to attend! We also would like to invite all veterans to attend. Please enter the school through the south entrance. A handicap ramp is available at our northwest door and please call ahead (580 846-9091) if you need to use that entrance. All other doors will remain locked. We appreciate our veterans and your efforts to keep our school safe.
