We had an incredibly busy Thursday last week!
It was the last day of Red Ribbon Week, so we "Scared Way Drugs" with our costumes. We had the "Coyote of the Month" presentations (which will be posted soon) and the Elementary School went trick-or treating to each classroom and then downtown to the COOP, Senior Center, Post Office and GI Joe Museum. Lastly, our Superintendent was honored by the Oklahoma Blood Institute for a great turnout at the last blood drive. As a reward, they provided a pizza party for the entire school!

Red Ribbon Week continues tomorrow with "Scare Away Drugs: Wear your Halloween Costume".
We also have the Coyote of the Month Assembly at 9:00 AM. The public is invited to this event. The elementary kids will be trick-or- treating downtown at 1 PM.
Today was a busy day at LWS. We started the morning with 'Mr. Magic" Buffy Coleman, the former Harlem Wizard who entertained with his basketball magic while dispensing life advice for the students. It was also "Wear Your Favorite Jersey Day".
