Field Trip Day!
The Pre-K through 2nd grade classes walked over the the GI Joe Museum and had a great time looking at the action figures, watching the trains run around the tracks and playing on the Jeep and Helicopter. Even Mayor Renae Vitale and Superintendent Lazenby got in the act!

Archery is in full swing at Lone Wolf School
The Lone Wolf Coyote Archery Team has started indoor practice now that their safety net is in place. The Oklahoma wind was not very conducive to bow and arrow accuracy during outdoor practices. Coach Kendra is prioritizing safety during these practice sessions and her team members seem to be enjoying themselves.

The Pre-K/Kindergarten and First/Second Graders spent part of the afternoon checking out books from Lone Wolf's Little Library. The library is one of many projects of the Lone Wolf Greeters Club. Looks like they found some really great reads!

New Doors being installed at Lone Wolf School
Thanks to the 2023 law passed by the Oklahoma legislature, Security Program Funds were given to each Oklahoma school to help improve school safety. Lone Wolf Schools decided to spend some of this funding on new, more secure doors for all the outside entrances. Pete's Glass in Mangum has been contracted to install the new doors, increasing the safety and security of our students and staff.
