He wants all those interested to come and join the Coyotes and Lady Coyotes on the basketball court this year!

Lone Wolf Schools would like to thank our local school community for passing the recent bond issue. Our vehicles were in dire need of an upgrade and thanks to the school bond, we were able to purchase a 2025 Chevy Suburban and a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica. They will be put to good use in the upcoming school year.

Lone Wolf School welcomes Kelly Gonzales as our new 5th and 6th grade teacher. Kelly's parents were both teachers and she brings 34 years of her own teaching experience. She was previously the 4-6th grade ELA teacher at Granite. Kelly lives in Elk City and has a very large family ( 8 children and 11 grandchildren). She enjoys watching her grandchildren play sports and traveling to new places. Welcome to Lone Wolf, Mrs. Gonzales!

Dr. Vitale invited Mrs. Meinert's 2nd grade class to participate in a few science experiments today. After we put on our lab coats and safety goggles, and with the help of lab assistants Emily, Haley and Emanuel, we proceded to cause some minor explosions, watch flames dance, make elephant toothpaste and shoot foam out of the fingers of a glove. Everyone somehow survived and a great time was had by all, even Mrs. Meinert.

Fun Day during Field Day at Lone Wolf School!

Some of the Lone Wolf Junior High students traveled down to the Quartz Mountain State Park this week for a little fishing and fun to celebrate the end of the school year.

Mr. Thomason's history class learned how to design and build a sturdy wood bridge. Then they put it to the test to see how much weight the bridges could hold. Caleb Bennet won the contest as his bridge held 65 lbs. of sand! Looks like we've got some future civil engineers at the school.

The Lone Wolf School PreK-12 Award Ceremony will be Tuesday at 10 am in the school auditorium.

The Lone Wolf Coyotes Visit the Zoo!
The Snider Exotic Petting Zoo was the Pre K-4th grade end of the year field trip destination. The kids had a great time feeding and interacting with the many animals that were at the zoo. Great way to end the school year!

Jr. High students Khonner and Kale deliver food items, that have been collected by the school, to the Lone Wolf Post office today. We have been participating in the Stamp Out Hunger program, collecting non-perishable food donations this week. All food donated will go to the Lone Wolf Methodist Church Food Bank for distribution in our community.
