Brianna Hollister was named Lone Wolf School Teacher of the Year.
Congratulations!

Here are some pictures from the Junior/Senior trip to OKC last weekend. A fun day which included playing games at the Main Event, hunting down classmates at Epic Paintball, having a great meal at JK by ChefKing and letting loose in the Breakroom where you get out all your aggressions by break things and paint the walls and each other with abandon.

Field Trip!
The elementary students went to the OKC Science Museum this past week for a full day of fun and learning.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

Vinny participated in the All-Star Olympics in Altus, OK.
He placed 3rd in his events as his entire class was on hand to cheer him on.
Vinny was also selected as an All-Star grant recipient because of the grant Ms. Hollister wrote. He will receive an indoor/outdoor jungle gym!
It was a great day for Lone Wolf Schools!

Today was Principal Appreciation Day. The staff and faculty at LWS want Mr. Sager to know how much we really do appreciate all that he does for us and his students.

Last Wednesday was Administrative Assistant Appreciation Day. The reason we were late in posting is because we just figured Audry would just do it herself - like she does everything else! Thank you Audry for everything you do. The faculty and administration greatly appreciate you.

Earth Day Campus Clean-Up
After studying the 3 R’s , Miss Hollister's 1st and 2nd grade classes cleaned the school campus and collected 9 bags of trash and litter! In addition to trying to keep our earth and campus clean, Miss.Hollister's class will be collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles to recycle. The students voted to use the money from recycling to purchase new water fountain filters! Thank you for keeping our school clean in celebration of Earth Day.

After learning about the solar eclipse, Lone Wolf students got a chance to observe the 92% eclipse today using special solar sunglasses. We won't see another in Oklahoma for 21 years.

Lone Wolf School is proud to announce that the 5th and 6th grade Science class, co-taught by Mrs. Burnett and Dr. Vitale has been selected as the February $500 prize winners, by participating in the Devon Thunder Explorers Program. The Thunder Explorers Program offers monthly lab activities that challenges students and facilitates learning through STEM principals. The students learned about static electricity. Pictured- The students are doing the Taking a Charge lab activity, by racing aluminum cans generated by statically charged balloons.
